Senior Originator Benelux & France

We are seeking an Originator to expand our structured origination activities across the Benelux region while supporting opportunities in France. The role focuses on developing and negotiating energy and risk management solutions, requiring strong commercial expertise in wholesale energy markets.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a client portfolio with a focus on the Benelux region
  • Originate and negotiate tailored energy and risk management solutions, including structured power and gas agreements, flexibility products, hedging solutions, and PPAs
  • Identify new business opportunities and build long-term commercial relationships
  • Maintain and expand a strong network of utilities, suppliers, industrial clients, traders, and renewable developers
  • Monitor market, regulatory, and competitive developments across the Benelux energy markets

Your skills

  • 5–7+ years of experience in energy origination, trading, or structured energy products, with a proven commercial track record
  • Strong network and established relationships in the Benelux energy market; French market knowledge is a plus
  • Expertise in wholesale power and gas markets, structured products, and risk management; EFET/ISDA knowledge is an advantage
  • Commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to grow business independently
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English; French or Dutch is an advantage
